What does Cannabis withdrawal feel like?
Cannabis withdrawal describes the symptoms one may
feel when the consume suddenly stops, after a long period of regular
cannabis smoking.
These are my personal experiences that I made during
8 years (it is now 2010) of using Marijuana.
I had long periods of daily marijuana smoking. There were periods
of 4 month during that I smoked every day.
I usually grow my own Cannabis, so I almost always have it around.
During those times of heavy daily smoking, I even started to smoke
Pot early in the day or during work. I needed more and more to feel
any effects. My high was not inspiring
and uplifting anymore. I was just dumb stoned.
I was never happy with myself smoking that
much.
Thankfully, I was always able to stop at some point.
When I stopped using it, I did not feel Cannabis withdrawal symptoms
in my body. I was not bodily addicted to it.
The worst withdrawal symptoms were the ones in my head.
I had/have this habit of smoking
during unpleasant tasks. For example during work. I thought
it would make it easier. But that usually works only once or twice.
After that, smoking during work mainly slows me down.
Whenever I stopped, I had no withdrawal feelings in my body. But
as soon as I hit some daunting task, I went straight back to the
pot.
Cannabis withdrawal was no problem when I had no Pot around. I
just did not smoke than.
I know that there are many people that think they are addicted
to Marijuana.
Before one thinks that, it is wise to consider whether that person
smoked Marijuana with or without Tobacco.
If you smoke it with tobacco, you are more likely addicted to that.
Especially people that smoke bong with
tobacco-marijuana mixtures are usually strongly hooked to nicotine.
When these people stop using
Marijuana, they might wanna consider to keep smoking cigarettes
for a short while. So they avoid the tobacco withdrawal.
I personally stopped to smoke cigarettes quite a few times. The
withdrawal symptoms were usually very strong. I became nervous and
aggressive. It was not easy at all.
When I compare the tobacco withdrawal to Marijuana withdrawal,
I can certainly say that Tobacco is far more addictive.
