Marijuana Abuse

What is Marijuana abuse?

Abuse means doing something overly often. So often that it can hurt you.

In terms of Marijuana, that can mean smoking every day. Smoking early in the day. Smoking before school, before work or housework.

Don't worry if you are one one of these habitual users. It is neither good or bad. But you can start to change that.

I personally have always had times where I smoked pot every day. I have smoked in the morning at 7.30 before going to work.

Being stoned seems to make things more pleasant. And for the first 2 or 3 times of smoking before work, work can actually be more fun.

But quickly, these 'All-Time-Green-Glasses' will hurt you.

Now could be the right time to stop for a while.

Reduce your consume

If you habitually smoke before going to work or school, don't do it tomorrow. Just go sober. And observe how you feel.

If you hate your job, consider getting another one. Something that you like doing.

If you are worried about withdrawal symptoms, consider that these come from the tobacco that you smoked with the pot.

If you smoked Marijuana without tobacco, you are unlikely to have big withdrawal symptoms.

How much Pot-Smoking is Marijuana Abuse?

The maximum a person can smoke before I consider it Marijuana-abuse, is daily. After the 'work' is done.

However there should regularly be periods of no smoking at all. This will ensure your body does not get too used to it. After an abstinence period, the positive effects of Marijuana are felt more intense again.

As soon as you start using it to get through rough daily tasks, it is abuse.

Smoke only after the 'duties' are done. Duties are the things that somehow have to be done but are unpleasant. It is than that we take Marijuana to help us do them. But that is a mistake. Pot slows you down on the things you don't enjoy.

Generally try to fill your day with activities you enjoy. If you want more about this, please continue reading at quitting Marijuana.
