Marijuana Pipes

Marijuana Pipes come in thousands of shapes, sizes, materials and colors. They are quick and easy to use.

A good Marijuana Pipes should be good to smoke. It should deliver a gentle, cool smoke while holding back the ash.

The longer the pipe, the cooler the smoke that reaches your mouth. Cool smoke is lesh harsh to your lung.

On the other hand, the longer the pipe, the harder it is to hide when you carry it with you.

Metal pipes are very stable. They won't crack or break that easily. They are also relatively easy to clean. They could be put into hot water with some dishwashing liquid. Another method is to heat them up over a gas stove and burn all the tar.

But they deliver a rather harsh smoke. Some people say that aluminium pipes are unhealthy because some alumimium burns and is inhaled with the smoke.

My favorite Pipe is the 'Bud Bomb'. It is a great piece of metal.

The Bud Bomb combines many good characteristics. It is small and can be carried in the jeans pocket. The smoke travels through an internal helix which cools it down. The Bud Bomb delivers the cool smoke of a long pipe.

I bought a Bud Bomb when I travelled in Australia. It was easy to carry and indestructable.

A good way to clean the Bud Bomb is to hold its components over a gas flame with pliers. The tar will burn and can be brushed off as ashes.

Wood Pipes

Wood Pipes deliver a slightly milder smoke than metal ones. Probably because more tar sticks to the wood. They also don't heat up that much. Most wood Marijuana Pipes have some metal used at the head. So the wood won't burn.

Stone Pipes

Stone Pipes deliver cool smoke. They heat up only slowly. They are not as stably as metal pipes. If you want a very stably stone pipe, try ceramic pipes.

It can be assumed that the stone pipe was one of the first pipes used by humanity. One of the oldest forms of smoking is by using a chillum.

Glass Pipes

It has been said that smoke from Glass Pipes tastes better. Just as Beer from a glass tastes better.

Maybe its because glass is a noble material. Glas pipes are very colorful. Reminding me of 'Alice in Wonderland'.

Many glas pipes are supposed to change the color after a while of use. Probably because Tar accumulates on the inside.

These Pipes heat up slowly. Smoke is relatively cool due to the large volume inside. Its funny to see the smoke in the pipe. They break easily. Especially the cheap ones that are made from thin glass.
