Side Effects of Marijuana
What are side effects of Marijuana?
"Side Effects" in my opinion are all the effects that
are unwanted by the user.

One immediate side effects can be an increased heart rate. A friend
of mine actually thought he would die because his heart ran so fast
after smoking hashish. He did not die, but he decided to never smoke
pot again. Instead, he drinks alcohol.
One of the side effects that I feel is "self consciousness
in social situations". When I smoke pot and dive into social
situation, especially with people I don't know, I feel relatively
insecure. My self confidence is diminished. I usually try to avoid
being stoned in situations like that. I think, that this insecurity
is in me anyway. But I feel it stronger when under the influence
of pot.
Generally can be said that Marijuana amplifies whatever emotions
you are predominantly feeling. If it is fear, than you will be more
scared. If it is fun, you will have a blast.
This is also true for external things like the taste of candy.
It will taste amazing. Colors will look more intense and sexual
pleasure can be heavenly.
Users that are of worried nature could happen to have 'panic attacks'
when under the influence of pot. This is in my opinion not only
because of the pot. This panic was in the user before. It needs
to be addressed and dealt with. Than it won't happen again.
Some other unwanted side effects are bloodshot eyes. This is usually
how the cops see that you are stoned.
I also believe that stoned people should not be operating machinery
or drive a car. The risk of an accident is much higher.
My personal experience is also that it is much more difficult to
retain new information when stoned. Reading a book can be impossible.
Marijuana smoke is also likely to damage your lungs. It is possible
to avoid this by using a Vaporizer.
